The 100 Grand Candy Bar has a slogan stating "That's Rich!" In the late 1950s, a popular TV quiz show called The Big Surprise sparked the idea for the $100,000 Bar, after a question that was asked to one of the contestants. The 100 Grand Candy Bar was introduced in 1966 and the name was changed in 1985 to "100 Grand" bar, which was a more popular term in the 1980s.
