Returns & Exchanges



RETURN POLICY:
Orders may be returned within 14 business days of delivery, as confirmed by tracking. Returns made after this time period will not be accepted. In compliance with FDA laws, we do not accept returns of opened items. All items must be returned in their original, unopened condition for a product only refund. The customer is responsible for original shipping fees as well as return shipping fees.

To return, simply return to original box and packing material (or new as long as properly secured*) and ship with your order number to:

*Orders that incur damage during return due to improper packing are subject to a restocking fee up to 50% of original purchase price.

DAMAGED ITEMS:
We do our best to ensure that your items arrive to you in excellent condition, however, should your items arrive damaged please contact us via email (CustomerService@CandyCrate.com) within 3 business days of delivery (confirmed by tracking).

In your email, be sure to include your order number, number of items damaged, and a photo of the damaged item(s) for our claims department. Depending on the shipper, claims can take from 2-14 business days to complete. Replacements will shipped via the same shipping method as the original order.

**Please note, Candy Crate does not refund for melted items unless Next Day or Second Day shipping is selected during checkout. CLICK HERE to view our warm weather shipping policy.

**Certain items, such as the Old Fashioned Candy Sticks are fragile in nature, due to this we allow for up to 10% breakage during shipping. Unless more than 10% is unusable we are unable to file a claim. Please be sure to read the entire item description to see warnings on these items.

MISSING OR INCORRECT ITEMS:
If you notice a discrepancy with your order please contact our customer service team within 3 business days of delivery (confirmed by tracking). We will compare order weight with physical weight and handle accordingly. Replacements or exchanges will be shipped at the same shipping speed originally selected during checkout.

SPECIAL ORDERS AND SEASONAL ITEMS:
We do not offer returns of these items. No way, no how!

INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS:
If an incorrect address is provided during checkout please contact us as soon as the discrepancy is caught. If possible, we will contact the shipper to have your package rerouted to the correct location. This will incur a non-refundable $15 fee. If your package has already delivered we will be unable to retrieve it and therefore, no refunds can be issued. Should the package return to us in itís original condition, a product refund will be issued less the shipping fees. If the item arrives damaged, a restocking fee up to 50% will be applied.

REFUSAL OF PACKAGE:
If parcels are refused, original and return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original form of payment.

WEATHER:
Candy items are subject to texture changes due to weather conditions. Softer items such as taffy and caramels will be harder in winter months. This is not an indication of freshness. During summer months, items such as chocolate and gummies, are subject to melting or reshaping. Please be sure to review our warm weather shipping guidelines prior to placing your order. Items not purchased under these guidelines are not eligible for refund or replacement.

TASTE:
While we specialize in the retro and hard to find treats, recipes and taste buds do change over time. In addition, differences do occur from one manufacturer to the next. Not all licorice is created equally. Please note, we do not offer refunds on items based on personal preference.

APPEARANCE/ASSORTMENT:
Although we do our best to list the flavors in a particular assortment, we cannot guarantee the amount of each flavor/color you will receive. Many items are handmade, this can cause slight color variations. Also, colors may appear different from one monitor or device to the next.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS:
Here at Candy Crate, we pride ourselves on our speedy service. Therefore, orders are often shipped within hours of placement. If your order has not already been packaged and labeled for shipment, we will gladly cancel and issue a full refund. However, once an order reaches our shipping department, we can no longer cancel.

Please note that by submitting an order with our company, you are indicating your compliance with the policies outlined above.
