M & M's
Did you know in 1982, M&M's Chocolate Candies rocket into space, and have been a part of the shuttle missions ever since? Here's some more M&M history: M&M's Candies were first introduced in 1941 with tube shaped packaging to American GIs serving in WWII. In 1948, the M&M's packaging changed to the classic brown bag we know today. In 1950, the very first "M" was imprinted on on the candies in black, starting the ever so famous trademark. 1954 was a big year for the M&M Brand, Peanut M&M's were introduced, the slogan "melts in your mouth, not in your hands", was started and the world famous M&M characters made their debut on TV! Yellow, Red and Green colored M&M's came in 1960 followed by Orange M&M's in 1976 and began being sold internationally beginning in 1980.
