To expedite shipping, smaller items and orders going to rural area will be shipped USPS Priority (1-3 business days). If you can not receive mail through the US Post Office, please let us know.

NOTE: All orders ship from southern California. Even if it is not warm in your city, your package may travel through warm areas during transit. Read WARM WEATHER SHIPPING at bottom of page.

To get your order to you as quickly as possible, we ship using UPS, FedEx or USPS depending on destination, size of order & when the order is processed. As a general guideline, regular GROUND shipping (you can select an expedited shipping method to arrive quicker) can take up to...

S&H charges will not be refunded for returned packages.

Most in stock orders placed by 3pm EST (Noon PST) Mon - Fri will ship the same day. Orders placed after 3pm EST M-F or weekends will ship the next business day.

UPS & FedEx do not deliver on the weekends & they do not count them as business days. If you choose USPS Priority Mail, please allow 2 - 5 days and provide a valid postal delivery address (these shipments are not trackable & are not guaranteed). Items ship from our Southern California Candy Warehouse.

Why we do not offer FREE SHIPPING on any size order. We do offer coupon codes that will help off set your shipping cost.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS: You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from CandyCrate.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country to which you are receiving/sending the goods.

CANADIAN TAXES: Taxes are assessed only on goods valued at $20 CAD (about $15 USD) or more and are generally about 8-15% (depending on the province); a $5 handling fee is added when an item must be taxed. When taxes are charged, Customs sticks a taxes-owing form on the box and the box is held by the Post Office as a COD -- recipient pays the tax/handling when the package is retrieved.

WARM WEATHER SHIPPING

If you have any questions, please call 800-849-0772. We will be happy to assist you over the phone. CHOCOLATES, GUMMIES & MELLOWCREMES need special handling during the months of April through September, or whenever the weather is warm. To assure that your order will arrive without melting during warm weather, all orders containing any chocolate, gummy or mellowcreme items, must be shipped as outlined below. You must purchase EXPEDITED, Second or Next Day air when purchasing heat sensitive products shipping to warm regions or during warm months. Your items will be packed in an insulated box with the appropriate quantity of re-usable Ice-Brix™ at no additional charge when expedited shipping is selected. Arrange to have your package delivered where someone is able to receive your package -- perhaps a business address. UPS/FedEx may leave packages on your porch if no one is home. Candy Crate will not be responsible for orders left outside. Perishable orders can only be shipped Monday - Thursday to arrive by Friday. Since APO, FPO & US Territory orders must be sent through the USPS, we cannot accept orders for heat sensitive products going to those regions during April through September. We are not responsible for the condition of heat sensitive products if not ordered as outlined above.
